Sorry I've been M.I.A I've been super busy with school and work. I've been working my butt off every single day for thirteen hours for the past three weeks, with school, I'm exhausted!!!

However, I'm back and I look forward to updating my blog more often. I have a new video on YOUTUBE if you are interested in watching. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and let me know if you have any ideas for future videos or blog ideas. Thanks!!!

First Experience of Death at Work

As my profile states, I am a nurse and although I've only been in the field for about six months, I am in love with it!! This field is very demanding, stressful, but rewarding. Knowing at the end of the day that I was able to make a difference in someone's life makes it all worth it. What I love the most about nursing is how things change everyday. Something new happens everyday and I love that! Unfortunately last night one of my patients passed away. This patient had been in our facility for about two months. I became really close to him. He was alone with out his family all throughout his last days. I can't understand how completely ungrateful some children can be to their parents. How does one leave their loved one to die alone??????? Anyhow, I know that I will witness many deaths throughout my career, but this one was more on a personal level and therefore I wanted to share the experience with you all. Are any of you in the medical field??? 

IN LOVE WITH MY SIGMA BRUSHES

I RECEIVED MY SIGMA BRUSHES TWO WEEKS AGO AND I'VE BEEN USING THEM RELIGIOUSLY.  I ONLY GOT TWO SINCE I WANTED TO GIVE THEM A TRY BEFORE BUYING THEM ALL AT ONCE. THE MINUTE I SAW THESE BRUSHES I WAS ECSTATIC TO TRY THEM. THEY ARE CUTE, WHY? BECAUSE THEY ARE PINK! AND WHAT GIRL DOESN'T LIKE PINK? THE FIRST AND FAVORITE ONE IS THE SS187

IT'S A DUO FIBRE BRUSH. THIS GUY IS AMAZING!!! THE MINUTE I APPLIED MY FOUNDATION I NOTICED THE DIFFERENCE. IT GAVE ME ME A STREAK FREE APPLICATION. ALSO, IT IS VERY EASY TO BLEND. NOT ONLY CAN THIS BRUSH BE USED FOR FOUNDATION, IT CAN ALSO BE USED TO APPLY BLUSH, HIGHLIGHT SHADES, AND LOOSE PIGMENTS. THE OTHER BRUSH I GOT WAS IS THE SS10 WHICH IS A LARGE POWDER BRUSH. 

I USE THIS BRUSH TO APPLY MY LOOSE POWDER OR MAC STUDIO FIX. IT IS VERY SOFT AND THE BRISTLES ARE DENSE WITH A ROUNDED TOP. SIGMA WAS ALSO VERY KIND TO SEND ME A GIFT. THEY SENT ME OVER THE E25 

THIS IS A BLENDING BRUSH. I USED THIS BRUSH TO BLEND MY EYESHADOW EVERYDAY. I LOVE IT!!! IT BLENDS EVERYTHING EASIER THEN MY OLD BRUSH DID. 

YOU CAN GET THIS BRUSH FREE WITH A PURCHASE OF $30 OR MORE. HAVE YOU TRIED SIGMA BRUSHES BEFORE? DON'T YOU LOVE THEM? MAC STUDIO FIX

I always hear my friends rave over M.A.C products and well, until yesterday, I didn't own anything from the brand. I bought the studio fix and I am ABSOLUTELY in love with it! I am shade NC42. The coverage is amazing and it definitely looks natural. The compact comes with a sponge applicator, however, I rather use my sigma brush CLICK HERE  to get. This brush makes the STUDIO FIX application so flawless. I LOVE IT!!!! What I also like about the STUDIO FIX is that it helps with shine for hours! I know that you will definitely love this product and therefore you should try it. You can either purchase it though MAC or do what I did, go to the MAC counter get tested for a shade and then bought off AMAZON you can click on the link to your left. They are way less inexpensive and you get the same awesome quality:) hope this review is helpful. Take care:)

Sonia Kashuk Eye Palette

This is my first post and being the first i would like to talk about a palette that i am loving. I am fairly new to make-up and therefore, this product couldn't of come at a better time.Last week I went to my local Target and i bought many beauty products, but one that deserves for me to race about is the Sonia Kashuk Eye Palette in Perfectly Neutral. This palette was only $15.00 and what I love the most about it is that it comes with an eyeshadow base. The base is amazing!!! very creamy and does what it says it does(helps with creasing). As for the colors, there is six. Like the name says, are all neutral colors, but the pigmentation is good. The colors are very easy to work with since they are neutral. Not much blending is necessary. It can easily be applied with the double ended sponge tip applicator that is included. Also, as stated before, all of the colors are neutral and therefore, makes it wearable for everyday school or work looks. I've been using this product for almost a week and I simply love it. I also love the packaging, it is very sturdy, if you drop it don't worry it wont break:) If you are a beginner in make-up like I am, you should definitely give this palette a try. I'm sure you will love it like i do!!! have a great day and until next time
